How can I read messages from recruiters? 📥

💡 If you feel like you're not getting any feedback from recruiters in your email box, or if you realize that you haven't seen responses to some of your applications, this article is for you!

 

✉️ Read messages from recruiters

If you sent an application from Welcome to the Jungle, you should have received a confirmation email in your mailbox. This message confirms that your application has been received by the company in question ✅

 

From now on, all the recruiters' messages will be sent to you in 2 ways:

• In your mailbox (the one linked to your candidate space) 📪
• In your personal space on Welcome to the Jungle 🖥️

If you feel like you are not receiving messages from recruiters, make sure to:

• Take a good look in your Spam and Promotions: the emails could be hiding in there!
• Regularly log into your candidate space on Welcome to the Jungle and check the messages related to each application.

If after looking at all your notifications, you don't hear back from companies, you can text them in the way explained below ⬇️

 

💬 Follow up with recruiters

Please note that each company may have different application processing times: from a few hours, to several days or even... weeks 😱 !

 

⚠️ Please note that we strive to encourage companies to respond to all of their candidates as best as possible and in a timely manner, to give you the best recruitment experience possible.

We advise you, before you follow up with a recruiter, to wait at least 3/4 days, and to check the status of your application in your personal space 🙂

You've checked, your application has been in process for several days, you really care about this position, and you want to emphasize your motivation to the company? Then it's time to ask the recruiter again! In this case, you have 2 options:

• Reply to the email(s) you have in your email box
• Write from your personal space (in the section Application tracking):

 

⚠️ Please note: some companies use an external recruitment platform, which means that when you clicked "Apply" you were redirected to an external site.

Welcome to the Jungle will not automatically record this application in the "Application sent" column of your tracking table, as we have no way of tracking this information. However, you can add a new card to your tracking table yourself using the "Add a job" button:

At the same time, to keep track of your application, you can try replying to the confirmation e-mail you received. The company will get back to you by e-mail once your application has been processed.
